This winter we had the blogging blues. We moved into our new studio in late August and things have been crazy ever since!! We’re settled in now and we’ve got some extra hands on board helping us keep things sane. Here’s a few pics from our trip to Vegas for the annual Wedding and Portrait Professionals International Convention. We have a ball every year!! I would NEVER take all of my regular photo gear (too heavy) and so my funky little Lens Baby get to go along on our excursions. Way fun time in VEGAS! (Some of the people we love the most from right here in River City~ Batesville, Greensburg, & Indy).

I TOTALLY love that Lauren is a Mini driver! Only the most creative people drive Minis of course!!

Lauren is from Greensburg, Indiana. Like so many people in this area of the country her parents and grandparents have something to do with all of those bean fields that turn into tofu, and soy milk, and prime rib. Love the shots we got out in the fields and historic barn.

Congrats on your upcoming graduation and good luck on all of the exciting things to come!

cover ~ CDW life ~ commerical photography

Back in October I shot for the cover of CDW Life. CDW Life is an in house magazine for CDW employees which is based in the greater Chicago area. CDW offers all kinds of computer related products and services from computers to software solutions, from personal uses to the health and banking industries and beyond. My subject was Mike, a top sales and service performer in the company. The object of the shoot was to produce an image with rock star like qualities for the cover of the magazine. We had a great time at the shoot and here’s the final image they selected for the cover. Sign me up for more gigs like that one! Lots of fun!
