Several weeks ago I had the chance to go to Colorado for our first ever family reunion with all of my siblings (all 7 of them) and their children and spouses and our parents. We really should do it more often! I grew up in Colorado and it’s a pretty place. Incredibly, it was over the top pretty while we very visiting. Green was the operative word for sure. I think it rained every day and threatened to wash out the Fourth of July too. The west in general has been in drought mode for several years now but I think Colorado in general is over that at least for now. I seriously couldn’t get enough of looking out the window while we were driving around.

We arrived in England at last on Easter morning after a delayed departure that was supposed to get us across the pond on Saturday. The first place we headed after the car rental office was to Salisbury Cathedral. Truly awesome place!! We managed to be able to attend part of the Easter Services there. So cool. They had a live orchestra going along with the organ. All of that sound bouncing around on stone was amazing, especially after the service when an organist practiced more medieval pieces!!

I’m alway looking for great expressions from my human subjects. I’ve very happy to have it in stone too.

I love the light in the shot above.

The Circus in Bath, England. Think Jane Austin and Northanger Abbey.

Chipping Camden in the Cotswold.

I’m so ready for spring!!

Truly amazing Blenheim Place. Home of the Churchill family (Winston Churchill) for about 300 years. We didn’t spend nearly enough time here. I guess we’ll just have to make another trip.

Oxford.
