To happy Nadine and Ben, congratulations!

Nadine has the most interesting wedding dress story EVER!!! Her parents where married more than 30 years ago in Lebanon. That wedding dress was packed in a box and stashed in the attic of Nadine’s parents home in Beirut. Fast forward through a 15 year long civil war and the ransacking and looting of that home. Her family returned when it was safe and discovered the box with the wedding dress was one of the only things left undisturbed by the war. When Nadine got engaged she decided to have her mom’s dress remade for her own wedding. Check out her beautiful dress below! The top part is new and contemporary and the delicate skirt, it had two wedding days. Totally sweet! (Also see Nadine hugging her mom when she got to the end of the isle before she greets Ben at the alter. I’ve never seen any bride do this before at any of the weddings I’ve ever shot!)

Take a peek at the the photos from the zaffeh too! So much fun there! This is a great Lebanese tradition where the the bride and the groom are accompanied to their wedding (in this case reception) by their friends and family to music and drums. Hands down my favorite part of their wedding and along with the dabke (folk dance after the zaffeh parade!!
